Heres just a suggestion, have a popup notification when some one posts to a thread you suscribed too if you have popup notification set for that thread, the popup would be similar to the pm notification.

On a busy forum, this could lead to problems... Imagine returning after a day and getting 10-20 popups.

If it was set up the way PM popups are, you would only get one popup.

That wasn't the original suggestion.. The original suggestion was that it would popup anytime someone posted to a subscribed thread.

Hmm, I could of been more specific in the post, what I meant is when you go to your userp cp you could have an option to receive a popup notification if some one replied to that post or have just a general setting like pm notification that when some ones replies you get a popup asking you if you wanna go to your usercp to view what posts were responded to.

I think it's a good idea, as long as it's made to look somewhat like PM notification to keep things coherant.

They don't get to see it. That's their problem.

Anyway, those browsers don't block javascript:confirm("blah") do they?

Question your damm lucky to have gotten that Mac domain. I am stuck with macwrite.comI was amazed that macusers.org was still available when I bought it last year. Unfortunately, the forums have very little activity, with only about 20 or so posts per week... :(
