I created a database in my public_html folder, called vbulletin.


let's say my user name is cbsdyet

and my pass is hello

my domain name is cbsd-clan.com


whenever i go to step 2 of the install i get this error

Attempting to attach to database...
Connect failed: unexpected error from the database.
Error number: 1044
Error description: Access denied for user: 'cbsdyet@localhost' to database 'vbulletin'
Please ensure that the database and server is correctly configured and try again.

shouldn't it be cbsdyet@cbsd-clan.com?

whenever i try that i get a warning, username, no permissions

cbsd-cla@pancor.serverhost.net or something similar.

please help

I am not using vbulletin... i am using phpbb... and i put it in a vbulletin directory, cause i was a noob when i set it up... and didn't know you had to pay for the program lol....
