E-Mail Notificatoin!

I asked this once I know but I didn't quite understand the answer I was given.

Could someone tell me what files / templates I would need to change in order to have the E-Mail Notify Box un-checked?

Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies. Only registered users are eligible.

Your question was a little vague.. If you had meant new threads and new replies you should have said so. Most people want to disable it at signup since newthread and newreply pull information out of the user profile. Then using that information to determine whether the box is checked or not, this seems to be the best course of action. If you are going to disable it by default on every post then you should delete the option from all the user profile templates to begin with so that your users don't get upset when they are no longer receiving notifications about new posts. :)

Thanx guys, but i've run into a problem!

Wluke, I don't want to take it out completely.. because you are right there are some people who like to be notified when someone replies to a thread they create

However, I merely want the box to be un-checked that way I won't accidently forget and get more e-mails on top of the many i already get!

I went to edit those templates and the box is un-checked.... it must be an internal File setting.. one of the php files... do you know?

It pulls it from your user profile. If you want to do it just for yourself, just go edit your profile and simply uncheck it.
