Is there a way to configure sendmail so that it does not accept attachments for a certain email address? My webmaster@ account has been active for so long I receive probably 100 to 200 spams/viruses/worms a day. I don't want to download them as sometimes it breaks the connection. I'm using The Bat for a windows email client.
The best solution would be to have any messages with attachments headed for webmaster@ to simply bounce. Please tell me this is possible!
thanks~

I'm pretty sure there is a way to do this but sendmail can be difficult to configure. You might want to check their home page:

Like Steve said, sendmail configuration is a real pain in the @ss.
Try this: http://www.sendmail.com/partner/resources/development/milter_api/
Or www.procmail.org

Or, install an addon package like the MailScanner/SpamAssasin combo
