Inserted new template..can no longer.. [Archive]

Hello, I put the forum back to original..but when I try to insert a new template.. (header/footer) that encomases the board within (side bars)..

It looks fine..but i am no longer able to update a profile.. or.. weird but.. when i put the template in...
The forum no longer parses vB code.

Any ideas?

I removed the footer.. and eveything works fine.. When I put the footer back in.. The system acts strage..

There is no php code in the header or footer..

I am stumped..

Has anyone ever experienced this?

The main problem is not being able to edit your profile..it goes to the system page that says:

Other things we have noticed it vB code in messages seem to be ignored..the vB code in a signature is fin.

Something is really screwy with your forums. I have two suggestions..

1. Verify your HTML.. It appears your overlapping forms which would cause the problems. Go to your registration page and view the source. Run that through a validator then fix the broken parts.
2. Simplify Simplify Simplify.

Check your HTML - you messed up some of the </form> tags.

And as Wayne said, you have a LOT going on there. Try looking at 3 columns in 640x480.

I removed the 2 forms I had on the template..
As far as it being allot.. I know, but I think it is important to display it that way. I am going to make 'Posts' 'Topics' & 'Last Post' very small so it will help with the layout.

Then I guess I will take a survey (vote) on the layout and see how it goes.
