Transferring vBB (+members&posts) to another server

The server our vBB is currently on, isn't, well, good :)

We're thinking of transferring it to another server, but I was wondering if it's possible to backup all posts and members, and reinstate them on the other server. And how of course :)

Hummzz. I get this when I try the mysqldump from the root :|. This is prolly not the right thread, but I'm pretty curious :)

Your mysql user does not appear to have enough permissions to do the dump. I would inquire with your host about getting the right permissions. :)
