VB on or off for this.....

should I turn off the vb forum to make changes in the admin area ei: adding new forums, adding users, changing VB options ect....

I been doing this anyways but if it's not nessary please tell me :)

i dont bother but its up to you and depends on how big a change you are going to make, what i tend to do is if im adding a hack then i redirect everyone to an ezboard i have running as a temp, ppl play there until i have finished or got whatever i can repaired.
works for me.

No there is no need to turn it off if you're just updating things from the Control Panel. But be sure to turn it off when uploading new/hacked files.
