...change those edit/email/profile etc icons/links to appear on top corner of posts? Also I'd like to know how to change table/forum width.

I just changed to VBulletin from UBB so I'm new at this :)

In the templates. Just rearrange the code the way you want it to appear.

The icons you are refering to are in the postbit template.

Table widths are spread throughout the system.
