Hi,

I am John from www.actiontrip.com (http://www.actiontrip.com/). Over the past week, Actiontrip.com owned by EXXTREME 3D, INC. has made several attempts to purchase the vBulletin forums. Because our company is located in Belgrade, Yugoslavia your billing agents (PayPal and WorldPay) will not accept our credit card (VISA) issued by Societe Generale. We have tried several methods of contacting you about the issue. First we tried e-mail, and all we get back from your sales / support team are incompetent messages sometimes not even related to the message we sent them. We send you messages like this, only to get responses such as "You can purchase vBulletin online at our website" and completely rediculous messages. We have also tried faxing you and contacting your phone number only to get no replies and just an automated recording from your telephone number.

Although we can send you a check, this would take time and we're quite frankly fed up with the vBulletin team and we are reluctant to purchase via check because we're not confident enough that your management can handle a check. We are afraid that by sending you a check, problems and complications would only be further imminent.

Even though the billing issues are not directly related to vBulletin, we would at least expect some support from your staff in finding a way to make this work. We would at least expect your staff to want to make a sale.

We have found WorldPay and Paypal to not accept major credit cards issued by banks in Yugoslavia. However, many other major online billing companies such as iBill accept our cards and we would like for vBulletin to come up with a solution for us. We are still interested in purchasing vBulletin as our community for our site (www.actiontrip.com (http://www.actiontrip.com/)), however, if further complications occur that would otherwise be easily solved by a competent sales team we will be forced to pursue other options.

Thank you,

John Pearson

I will forward this to James, who will be happy to contact you and arrange an alternative payment method.

Do you have the support ticket ID numbers? I'd like to look them up to see where the miscommunication came from. Believe it or not, we try our best not to be 'incompetent'. ;)

Hi,

thanks for the replies. I am not the one who originally contacted vBulletin about the issues, that was the site director Uros. He has the ticket numbers you are speaking of. I urge you to contact 2lions@actiontrip.com (his e-mail) for this information or the telephone numbers if you wish.

Please forward this information to that James character or whoever needs to form this "alternative" method of payment.

Thanks,

John

I have found the ticket from Uros and I honestly can't see where the problem is. As far as I can see Jake answered all the questions asked with the appropriate info. If there was misunderstanding it's not clear what it is. I suggest you ask Uros to update his ticket with any further questions he has. We will do our best to clarify any misunderstandings.
