Vbb new registers email verification problem!

Hi have a problem with the email verification thing which ppl have to do when they signup!
the problem is it takes for ever like few days+
how do i setup it up to use the servers mail sender which is super quick when i had ubb:( running

Sounds like a problem with your servers sendmail program.

Everyone I know (including my VB) sends them out instantaneously! I would try contacting your server host.

How do i know if its using right mail server?
ie /bin/sbin/mail ?

You would have to contact the company that hosts your server. Each server can be set up differently :)

Do you know who your host is?

yeah i know what the mail server path is it

/usr/sbin/sendmail

The mail server path is directly embedded within PHP. You'd have to contact you hosting provider to make sure that they have PHP configured correctly.

i just tested da mail server via the cotrol panel and it sent in 2 mins..
im confused;)

works ok now i disable verify email addy in Cp to add mate;) then renabled it i tested again and it worked ok in like 5sec's
