Not bad... not bad at all. I'm looking for a new desk myself, but I have a load of stuff on the current one so I'll have to get rid of some of them. :o
And yes, nice toothbrush. I have the same one LOL. Don't leave it on the stand for too long, the battery will dry. I only recharge it when it's empty, my previous one died because I kept it recharging.

got the toothbrush yesterday, my last one was dissapeared last week o_O i was stuck with a regular one for a couple of days.
I had lots of stuff on my old desk its still sitting about the room waiting to be "sorted" into the appropriate categories. Keeping and binning ;)

what gave that away :P
I had a webcam up for a bit which showed my entire room but its a bit of a mess now so I wont bother turning it back on until during the week when its tidier.

I got the mysql 4 book a couple weeks back, just been reading up on the new functions and features.
I dont have my PHP book any more lent it to someone and it never returned. It was Core PHP by Leon Atkison discussed PHP 4.0.1 :D

there stealthed.
I have a DVD drive on the top and a 52x CDRW under it.
Took two bezels, a pair of tin snips, some wet and dry, an eraser, craft knife, super glue and some sticky foam pads to do it :D
You cut off the bezel legs and use the wet and dry to smooth the edges.
You cut out a small block of the eraser, just larger than the depth of the bezel and super glue it to where the button is.
Use the foam pads to stick the bezel to the drive, use enough foam pads so their bigger than the bit of rubber.
Result: You can push the front of the drive, the foam pads will compress and the rubber will hit the button :D

kier, how much would that cost to build?
Kier
Tue 28th Jan '03, 11:57am
Buying the steel (thin wall steel box section) costs about £30-50 depending on who you talk to, then there is the desktop material, which is heavy-gauge laminated chipboard, and then there's the accessories like the sliders for the keyboard shelf, feet etc...
All in it's still less than £100, but then you gotta find someone to actually build it for ya ;)

you should go into computer desktop design and get those designs out to some Australian manfucturers/distributors... not much of range of desks to choose from here  :D
