I'm trying to set up liquidninjas.net as a new host for my website and some others. I'm using Win2K Server, Apache2, PHP 4.40, SQL 3xx, and VB2.2.9. And before Im flamed...yeah, I know ;) Thats a configuration nightmare waiting to happen.
But it seems to work okay. SQL has actually crashed right now, need to go home to figgure out why. But, in terms of VB itself...I need to know how to install SMTP services. Linux is easy, id just use sendmail. Unfortunately, i have no SMTP handler installed on this 2K box, so of course none of the VB email functionality is working correctly. I shudder at the thought of installing Exchange.
Are there any good freeware/open source SMTP servers for Win2K which will work with PHP/VB? I just need something simple.
