Hi,
I know very little about databases and php :(
I knew enough to be able to setup my first vbulletin forum without too much trouble. However, I have been asked to setup another forum for a friend but I'm stuck.
I'm using mySQL on a shared Unix webserver. The login of my mySQL server also doubles as the database name. My host (Nildram.net) mentioned something about renaming tables to make a seperate database but I'm technically very weak at this so I didn't know what he was going on about, also he said this would mean editing the php files etc.
I'm sure other people setup 2/3 vbulletin forums on the same server under the same login! What's the best way of doing this? Is my host crap?
Also, the prices seem a little steep, and I have to pay a developer option also which is £60 / quarter!
Shared MySQL
My SQL Business- 20mb
£30/quarter
My SQL Business- 50mb
£75/quarter
My SQL Business- 100mb
£150/quarter
My SQL Business- 200mb
£300/quarter
Please help!
Cheers,
Kerry
