Update: Oh, now works :) I See :) I'm not seeing it here. I refreshed after ~30 minutes and it marked everything read, even topics I had not read yet. I think it's still vB2. Hopefully the vB developer(s) who came up with the temporary cookie/database system that was working here for a few days will put out a hack version of it on vbulletin.org. :)

It needs a bit of work, the problem was it added a couple of queries to showthread that weren't needed. We could continue with the thread marking as cookies and hold forumviews in the database as was done the first time. Though the vB2 cookie method looks to stay for vB3.0 and will hopefully make an appearance in vB3.1.
The read system has been improved to mark a forum read if you read the last thread -> view forum -> view forum home

You rock. I read an exceptionally busy forum (TiVoCommunity.com) that has an average of 12 PAGES of updated threads each 24 hours. If i race through all 12 pages, Shift-clicking interesting topics as I go, I still barely make it thru before the 15 minutes expires.
Thank God for Windows 2000, 640MB RAM and DSL. Having 50 IE windows under Win98 was a logistical nightmare.

you need to go back to forumdisplay then to forumhome after reading the last thread.Yeah! It's work's! :)
But in "View new posts" I see readed thread (with read icon). It is bug or not?
(Please sorry for bad english, I hope you understand me)
