OT Graphics Question

For those of you who are graphic geniuses here... :)

can you tell me how to create a graphic such as this with a picture and the rounded top left border? I think this looks so cool, but am not sure how it works! (I use PaintShopPro)

open up a new image...

background color of your choice...

and click on the selection tool (the dashed square in the tool bar) and now a box will show up "Tools Selection" box... in the drop down menu click on rounded rectangle... Feather unchecked and antialias checked

with the selection active... you can add effects (bevels etc) and your graphics, etc
