I'm looking for a VBulletin theme design house capable of doing design work similar to what Ravio does. I'd use them but they never answer any of my inquiries so I'm looking for alternatives to them.

This would be for a commissioned design with a decent development budget.

Corey is usually very goog about answering e-mails, quickly if I may add. Fire off another e-mail, being the Christmas season could be the reason for the slowness in response.

If you are bent on stearing away from Ravio, if you could post examples of what you are wanting done (a few site URL's or examples), I may be able to help or know of another that would be able to meet your demands; knowing your budget would also help :).

Alright, I'll fire off another one to them and wait until Jan 4th or so. After that, I need to move on with life and get serious with some one more responsive.

I run several fanclub sites on a pair of dedicated servers for Ms. Zhang Ziyi, a chinese actress. If you saw Crouching Tiger and Rush Hour 2, then you've seen her. Anyway, the current messageboard site is at http://www.ziyifilms.com It is to be moved to server #2 when VB3 is released. Along with the VB3 release on the second server, I want to upgrade the design theme to reflect the type of site it is - a very graphics and image intensive site designed around her face and persona. I essentially want to enveil a new server home, completely upgraded to VB3 and sporting a totally new default theme.

What drew me to Ravio was the site they did for http://www.yaxay.com I've never seen anything like it. This site is awesome in the way it displays each individual post with a distinct and offset framed avatar area. The framed look is very appealing, which would need some modernistic asian/oriental design elements added to it instead of the present hard technoid design. Color themes would be shades of white, aquatic blues and brushed chroma, with perhaps some offsetting vermillion red and antiqued gold texture elements thrown in.

I'm also open to new design suggestions. Please PM me for budget info.

Corey does some awesome work, he helped design my forums as well, i went for a rather simple layout, and he was able to do exactly what was needed. I too have noticed its hard to get ahold of him, i think he lists his ph number on the ravio site, you may want to give him a ring.

Other then that, there are quite a few vB designers over at vbulletintemplates.com, may be worth contacting or posting there for a quote.

Well, I did contact them, and just like Ravio, bob at teamphotoshop is too busy.

At least he responded to my email.

I find this situation totally amazing. The economy may be in the tank, with millions of people out of work, but VB Theme designers are totally too busy!

If nothing else, this is a testimony to the market depth and Internet presence of VB. This product rules.

DirectPixel is next. Let's see if alex has any time for me.....
