It's easies to just get a new button set, and replace your current ones.
If you browse aroud this forum, you'll find some that others have posted.
Have a look here:

If you have PhotoShop 7, you can use vButton Pro, along with the original PSD's to make new ones.

If there is a certain color you are looking for, you can post it here, and maybe someone will create you one, of that color.

First create or download the new button set that you want.
Connect to your server via FTP
Browse your forums/images directory (or wherever your buttons are located)
Upload the new button images to the server, replacing the current one.
If you don't like it, you can always re-upload the default back, or you could create a new style to test them out on.

When I click on "make header buttons" or "make all buttons" a sign says "PSD FILES NOT FOUND"
What am I doing wrong?

You need to specify the path to your PSD files, in the text box.

Each style has a images dir set in its properties, make that dir on your server too and upload the new images to that directory with an ftp client.

If I choose properties of a style there is only these to choose between:
Title
Replacement Set
Template Set
User selectable?
(user can select this style in their profile?)

Login to the admin control panel as an administrator
from the left menu browse down to styles (step 1) and click on modify
(step 1) and then font/images/etc (step 3)
(see screenshot and then next post)

from the page that appears on the right, browse down to the part where it says 'image paths' and set the image path for that style.
(see step4 (screenshot))
Once done that, upload the images to that folder on your server (if it is not there, create it first) with an ftp client
