I thought this was fixed before when Kevin went crazy, but look at Steve's signature.

So where are my slashes. Maybe they were added in the import, since Steve hasn't changed his signature since then(?). Or his signature was edited in the CP, and that's where the slashes were added.

I'm pretty sure my sig was fine after the import. I haven't edited it since. Let me edit it now and see if the slashes disappear.

I can't edit it. It says it's over 500 characters when it definitely isn't - even when I remove the:

(the Mod formerly known as \\\\\\\'smachol\\\\\\\'),

Looks like another bug.

Looks like another bug. I could of sworn yesterday there were only 3 slashes in front of 'smachol' and 3 after it... (\\\'smachol'\\\)

Well that would be it then. Are you saying that changing the avatar also changes the sig? If so, doesn't this qualify as a bug?

The question remains, how did the slashes get there and what is making them increase?

The question remains, how did the slashes get there and what is making them increase? It's not a bug because the change avatar button is present on the user profile form. Pressing the button submits the user profile also in case you have modified any of that data.

Furthermore I can't get rid of them because of the strange '500 character' error.

Furthermore I can't get rid of them because of the strange '500 character' error. bbcode also counts against the character limit I believe. As for the slash problem, it is fixed. Can't be running it through addslashes() twice.

Ok, thanks. Let me try to edit it now.
