For example, type in my last name 'sidhom' - 5 items will come up.

*idhom - 0 Results
*idh* - 0 Results

Another example: Type in Steve Machol's last name - 316 items will come up

*achol - 0 Results
*acho*- 0 Results

Sorry if this is already reported:

If tried to search this in post titles only:
+attachment +size

it works ok..
However to cover both keywords "attachment and "attachments" if I change it to this:
+attachment* +size

the search is not successful and I guess posts with either term (instead of both) is returned because returning results is too much compared to former search.

Also, I don't know if this is related to VB3's searching features but it recently became really very hard to search in vbulletin.com. The script ignores most of your keywords mentioning it's a "common term". I understand it wouldnt return results when you search say "AOL" or "query" or "big" only, but you sometimes really need to search for
"AOL" AND "COOKIE"
"BIG" AND "ATTACHMENT"
"QUERY" AND "INSERT INTO"
etc. but you can't.

I believe the common terms should be still searched if they are used with other uncommon terms together..

The Devs are working on finetuning the search process. As you can see, it needs some work. :)
