I'm running my site on a shared server (addr.com) and the forum is very image intensive. As can be expected, the forum is slowing down to a crawl. I am running the latest VBulletin.

My question is, my current provider is very slow. I want to move the entire forum ( approx. 8K posts, 100 users ) to another provider in the hopes that they may be faster. Can anyone recommend a provider who is noted for having relaible and lightning fast servers ( I can't afford a dedicated server ). Are there any providers of MySQL database server space only? i.e., so that a server doesn't serve everyones html pages all day, just database connections?

Price can be anything but dedicated...that's way out of my league.

Before moving to a dedicated server I had several sites with VenturesOnline (http://wenturesonline.com) . The servers are fast, they have good support, and a very active forum of users.
