G'day all,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this, as it's been a recurring problem recently that's been causing my site to become *very* unstable.
Basically, its this error:
Warning: Too many connections in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/xfan/forums/admin/db_mysql.php on line 40
Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Too many connections in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/xfan/forums/admin/db_mysql.php on line 40
I'm wondering what it is that causes that, and what measures can be taken to prevent it happening?
Also, today I discovered a process that had been running for 55 minutes that was chewing up over 90% of my server's CPU! That's what was causing the "too many connections" error, but what process would chew up over 90% of the CPU state?!
Thanks in advance,
