database help needed

ok i have several free forum packages on the same database due to my webhost only providing 1 the questions i have is


1 can i have vb on the same database as my other forums without it overwriting them if yes how ?

2 can i have my main vb board and a test vb board on the same database so wen i add mods to it i dont kill my main board if so how ?
