Question FreeBSD

Hi,

My webserver is running on FreeBSD 4.6-STABLE. Does anyone know if VBulletin works under that OS or if I might have some trouble in setting up vBulletin? Or how can I find out if it works before purchasing it? (a OS change is NO option for me)

FreeBSD works with vB's php/mysql however there have been some unexplained issues with mysql that i read and seen

i.e. according to Jeremy Zawodry from Yahoo Finance re FreeBSD and mysql http://jeremy.zawodny.com/blog/archives/000203.html#000203

i've found that Red Hat 7.3 with latest stable 2.4.x kernel works particularly well... although FreeBSD is okay too
