I am going to purchase your software for sure! I know very little about how to set this up but I do want to do it myself so I will learn. It looks like upgrading from the current version to the version 3 is much harder than a clean install. I will be ready to install in about a week! My question is should I wait until version 3 is released or is that a long time from now? With my lack of experience should I wait because of the difficulty in the upgrade? I have looked at every board out there and yours in my opinion is by far the best and it is what I want! If you were me with little experience would you wait until version 3 is released? I do need to get the system up in a resonable ammount of time!
Please give me some advice - Thanks

Where do you see that upgrading will be harder than a clean install? Upgrading to version 3.0 will be simply uploading files and running an upgrade script in your web browser. It will be no more difficult than upgrading to 2.2.9 or 2.2.10 if they should be released.
My recommendation is to purchase the software now. You don't have anything to lose because you get free upgrades for a year which includes version 3.0. However you will get the benefit of having a community on your site much faster.

I will take your advice and get it now and worry about the upgrades later. It sounds like it should not be harder than the install.. I was reading in the beta area that it took a lot of steps to upgrade and I think that is because the script may not be made for it yet. Any how great product and I want it!

The 'steps' that were posted were the steps the script needs to take - not the user.

It has been also confirmed I think by JamesUS that there will probably be getting a few stable version of version 3 should you purchase now.
