usenet newsgroups -> vBulletin forums

Hi,

my university still uses the old usenet newsgroups system. I would like to know if all of this would be possible with vBulletin forums :

Would it be possible to create a vbulletin forums database from a usenet newsgroups database ?

Would it be possible to read and post on the vbulletin forums by mail ?

Would it be possible to crosspost on multiple boards with vbulletin forums (like admin multi-forums announcements, but available for anybody) ?


I know I won't change the habits of my university, but if I could provide an alternative for usenet newsgroups, it would allows html embeddings, moderation, search features, user profiles, etc.
