when upgrading the vbull from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 do i loose all teh hacks that have been put in place in the 1.1.3 version when it upgrades to 1.1.4

i think u'll lose them because u must overwrite your PHP files ... the best thing id to do this and reinstall the hacks if you do not have tons ...
or wait for version 2.0 of vbb :)

the main reason i was looking to upgrade was because teh v1.1.3 was so dam slow and it takes up heaps of processes when running a huge board. i heard the v1.1.4 has a database fix so it runs alot faster and smoother. is this true.
any help on this slowness for the database on v1.1.3 is apprecaited

what u could do is look at the two sources and try to upgrade manually v1.1.3 with the new DBase accesses but a more experienced user should confim my sayings :)
