When I set up vBulletin on my new webhost's servers, my domain name had not yet propagated. So I used the IP address of my space; I thought that I would be able to easily change it later, like in UBB. However, I cannot seem to find these variables anywhere. I'm talking about the server absolute paths and base URLs. How do I change them?

In your Control Panel, scroll down on the menu to the Options box, and select "Change Options". At the top of the page that comes up, you will see a whole bunch of links. The second one down is called "General Settings" - click that link, and that will bring you to the spot to fill in your server details.

OK, thanks. I knew about that, but that wasn't what I thought I meant. I think I was getting hung up by what I was expecting to find, based on my experience with UBB. But I guess that since everything is stored in a database, vB does not use absolute paths like UBB does. What had confused me was the fact that in my vB, all links were using the IP address, not the domain address. But I've just seen now that that is because I got into the vB with the IP address, so all links were based on it. I switched in the address bar to the domain address, and now all the links use the domain address, not the IP. Hmm... not sure if I wrote that so that it makes sense, but I hope you know what I mean. :)
