I just accidentally clicked on the "Unsubscribe from all threads" link located at the bottom of one of the notification e-mails here. Please. PLEASE! Add a confirmation screen to that evil evil link. :) Logician has a hack over on vBulletin.org that does this. If not in vB 2, vB3! :D

That sounds like a good idea. :)
But instead of a confirmation screen, I would prefer a confirmation alert (like when you receive a PM).

Javascript can easily be disabled in Internet Explorer. Many security practices call for it, and it is probably common practice in some corporate installations.

I am of the opinion that one should never rely soley on local processing of information. If arrangements are made to default to a server-side processed confirmation screen for clients which ignore javascript, then that is acceptable. Using only Javascript to verify information is a disaster waiting to happen.

I got another cool idea.
Instead of a confirmation screen, just provide a box to tick to confirm before clicking the "Unsubscribe from all threads" link. :)
