Hello

I am making a photo gallery page for all the members of my forum and I would like to know how do I make it so I won't have to make seperate pages for each style and what not?

For a pretty good example of PhotoPost implementation alongside vBulletin you may want to take a look at the following site:

AVS Forum Gallery (http://www.avsforum.com/photopost/index.php)

You can see ours here:

http://chat.provida.com

Click on member name "BMOS Dolores" to view her profile. You can also go to Control Panel if you're a member and then click Edit Photo Gallery.

Well I like the AVS kind of. I know I have to do something with templates to make a page and have it change with the style that members selected.

Photopost integrated into the main forums page, with random thumbs displayed at the top from a specific cat. We've also added a drop down box in the postbit that only displays members galleries if they have images uploaded.

Forum home has a few hacks added so that the photopost gallery forums show, as well as new/no-new post indicators, with total photos, replies, and last photo added.

I see well all of that is a little much for my knowledge right now so I'll figure something out.

Which hacks did you use to do that Smoothie?

Thankyou

I don't remember which one I was using but it's free. You can see it at http://www.veggieboards.com (click the "photo gallery" link under the header). If you like it I can find out who it's made by.

Only thing I don't like is I have to be involved with most aspects. I can allow visitors to upload their own photos but if I give them access to altering images or text then they have access for all, not just images they submitted.

So what I have them do is upload the images and then e-mail me a description with the file name. Kind of a drawn out process. It's no fun to modify either, I wish it had template system like vB. Maybe I'll look into PhotoPost and see what I think. :)
