It seems that most hosting companies do not offer mysql support on a windows platform (many don't offer php support either), yet I've seen many here on the forums that are using vBulletin in a windows environment. Are the majority of these folk using dedicated solutions, installing mysql and php themselves?
The reason I ask is because I have someone that wants vBulletin but they're on a windows platform and their host doesn't support / provide mysql. What are the options here? Find a provider that does support mysql in the windows environment and have them move? :eeeeek:
Thanks,
