This information is not as useful as it could be.
1. In moving a thread a typical
"Moderator Notes / Thread Summary" is as follows:
Moved to FORUM (with redirect) by USERNAME on DATE.
Since, in order to clear the redirect, you need to move the thread back to where it originated, it might be nice to note the origin of the thread in the Summary. The current location isn't very useful in fact. Obviously, the thread is where it is. The question is where it was originally. The current location info is in fact redundant if the origin is known. Say a thread were moved twice and you tracked the origin instead:
Moved from FORUM A (with redirect) by USERNAME on DATE, Moved from FORUM B by USERNAME on DATE, and of course, the thread currently resides wherever it is, so only the origin is required.
2. When you go to move a thread, it might be nice if that Thread Summary was also printed on the page. It would be helpful to know the history
Regards,
Matt
