Posting Times

I've noticed that the time that a post appears on a thread is on the time they clicked reply.

For instance, if I click reply at 3:30 and another member at 3:35 and I click submit at 3:45, but he does at 3:40, then mine will still appear before his.

Well, if that's inaccurate, don't worry about it, but if it is accurate, then why not make it for first post first serve? I notice this some times on boards where posters post really fast and I end up losing some posts, etc.

It doesn't work that way. According to the code, the time that you submit the post is the time that sticks. There is no time carryover from when you click Reply initially.
