Sorry, according to the forum rules (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=42918) you are not allowed to solicit paid services.

fine - i only asked if someone could recommend somewhere for me to go... hey you come out fast when something you don't like, how about coming out that fast to actually answer the support tickets!
Seems to me, I wasted a hell of a lot of money based on false promises of support, and wasted a further lot getting it installed, but hey, I won't ask nobody to help again..
Obviously I ain't getting this to work, I can't do it myself so if someone wants this worthless licence contact me....

I'm sorry this is how you feel. What is the number of the support ticket? I will have a look.

I think you will find that the standard of service at vb is impecable - and almost all customers will agree! It is only your attitude that is lacking around here. You payed for a licence to run a vbb forum not to be blantently rude to support staff.

It all boils down to the customer's ability to use a product. You're not going to a buy a car when you don't have a drivers license, so you shouldn't buy a board you don't know how to manage. Sure, you can ask for driving tips or directions on how to get somewhere, but if you don't know the basics, you won't go anywhere.

good2laugh - what problems have you had in following the instructions provided? I know it can be complicated at first, we've all had to go through it :)
If we can help you out, we will. You might even find that being a bit more positive, someone will offer to help you out for free ;)

A good host should help you tranfer your db. I've been with 3 different hosting companies, and all of them did the db transfer for me, free of charge.

If you still wish to stick with vBulletin, I will help you transfer your database. I've had to move hosts twice with a vB installed and I am fairly experienced in doing so. No payment would be required.
