Changing a Mod to regular registered member?

Hi all,

Recently a moderator on my forums decided he coudl not moderate one of my forums and now I want to change his user title back to being a regular member, but i'm not sure how to.

I've looked at the "User Titles" section and the "User Group/Permissions" section but still can't figure it out.

Can someone help me out here please?

easy just go to the control panel - moderators (under the modify forum group of links) and remove his username from the the list next to the forum he was modding..

I did that, but when i went back to the forum his username was still being regarded as a moderator.

I then went into his username details a specified his username to use a specific title.

What I would like to know however, is will he stil be able to view the Mods Only forum I have?

you might need to run an update on user info. and then uncheck the use of a specific title and let him run with the regular forum members..

You could also go to his profile, goto the User Options link at the bottom, then change his usergroup to "Registered". That should remove all permissions he previously had - you also don't need to take him out of the Mod list as he'll go automatically.
