If you highlight a section of text, and then click a smilie icon, you'd probably expect that the smilie would replace the section of text you've highlighted (as it would in any other WYSIWYG editor). But that doesn't happen in the vB WYSIWYG.

Instead, the smilie is inserted into the highlighted text -- and not always in the same predictable way. It varies based on how big a selection you make. It would be much preferable if the smilie just simply replaced the selected text.

Try making a selection with the shift and arrow keys, then try inserting a smilie.

I know what the problem is here, just haven't got around to sorting it yet... patience my young apprentice ;)

Dunno about a bug but what peeves me is when I forget to add a vB Code and want to insert one in the message it ALWAYS places it at the end so I end up doing it manually.. I guess this is similar to what you are doing..
