php poll and vB?

Does anyone here have vB and a php poll running on the same page? I would like to know how to do this .

There is a hack to have polls in your VB (look in the hacking forum), and will be part of the 2.0 release coming soon. :)

Well, I'm not looking for a poll IN vB but more of having a poll on the same page as vB (at a different table etc)
I tried using "Advance poll"
but it didnt work.
