guest posting

I know I'm just missing something that is probably very easy to find, but after 15 minutes of looking I decided it'd be best to ask.

How do you allow non-registered users to post? I'm running the latest version, 1.1.4.

In your control panel, scroll all the way down to the option for User Group/Perms., and select modify. In the screen that comes up, next to "Unregistered/Not Logged In", select [Edit]. In the next screen you should be able to configure permissions as far as posting allowances.

You can specify which forums they are allowed to post in by selecting "Modify Forum Permissions" from the main menu.
