[bug] showthread pagination

I have my user CP set to show 40 posts per page.

The thread I'm looking at: http://beta.vbulletin.com/vb3/showthread.php?threadid=383
How it appears in forumdisplay: http://turtletips.dns2go.com:8082/web/1.gif (note the lack of page links)
How it appears in showthread: http://turtletips.dns2go.com:8082/web/2.gif (now see how it thinks there are two pages)

Had you already visited the 'test' thread?

You will notice behaviour in the search page, that once you visit a thread, and refresh, the post indictor will change to read.

This is very useful for me on my forums, because it tells me which threads ive 'read' or visited..

Undocumented feature not a bug i assume :)
