Just founded out (thank to another user!) that I had to set
'Use vBCode quick links on your message input screens?' to YES in my options to .... Enabling this option allows you to quickly manipulate different aspects of your posts including color, font, and size. In addition you can click on smilies to have them inserted into your posts. You may disable this option if it causes problems for you.
I don't get this really. Why is it OFF by default? I mean.... adding smilies and stuff and Vbcode is part of the CORE of writing a message!
When I turned it to "YES" I eventually say my smilies-box and other stuff back! Yeah! Ofcourse I didn't see the WYSIWIG, cause I use 5.0 (like a lot of other people....), but at least I had my old things back!
Well... you guys must be a bit stressed out of all the critism throwed at VB3.... I hope not, because there are OFCOURSE a lot of GOOD things to mention. For example: I found out that with the VB quick links in IE5 (so without WYSIWIG) I could insert a smiley or Vbcode and VB inserts it AT THE CURRENT CURSOR POSITION! Voila!!! Splendid. One of the most annoying things of VB2 has been solved. Thanx for that.
