Ignore threads/user's threads

One of my users has suggested a way to ignore specific threads, or all threads started by a specific user. Personally, I think it's a good idea. :)

Well what is the idea? Is there any more flesh to it?

The idea is to be able to ignore a thread (so that it doesn't display when searching for new posts), or ignore all threads started by a user (so their other posts are still visible).

Oh, I thought there was a specific idea on how to implement this that your user suggested.
