I had a major boo-boo & needed to get some serious SQL help for it.
While installing a hack, I began experiencing parse errors. I reuploaded all my PHP but the errors still stood out there. I then suspected something in the database (turned out to be something wrong with one of the templates) so I began to run queries to replace the data. Before I go any further, the last backup I had was from two days earlier, so I ran what the provider labeled as a "site backup"...
I got the error squared away, but lost the contents of my post table. I tried to restore from my "site backup" only to discover that it was just the contents of my web site, not the DB. I did restore from my previous 2 day old copy of the database, however I"m not missing 600 posts!
Where can I begin to try & recover all this? I really need to bring this back to life if humanly possible. I have contacted my provider to see if they can do anything, and now I am asking humbly to see if anyone here can do anything.
Thank you...
