vB to vB Converter

I read a rumor (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43289) about James' development on an importer that allowed you to merge two vBulletin forums together. Now, my simple question: will this be released alongside/after vB3, or will we see it before then?

James I will be more than happy to beta test this when its ready, manually editing things in mysql sucks big time, thats the only way I have been able to merge two vb's together, lots of hours of hard work

For the threaded view in vB3, will the vB2 > vB3 importer do this:
