all the people who have to put "cute", "sexy" "fine" "stud" in their screen names are so insecure about their looks..so they need to feed their egos with these words...you are the ugliest ones and you know it..that's why you have to put those words in their SN.. and the ones that put "pimp", thug", "hustla", "gangsta", "racer" are the wannabes..

That's funny.... but I don't consider Oracle and MySQL to be in the same class of database. I wonder who Oracle is expecting to convert with that domain (or if they just charge so much money that they need to spend it on hundreds of stupid domain names to point to their site??)

Hey, if you really wanna get an anti-MySQL domain, diemysql.com and mysucksql.com are available. :)

Of course, we've had discussions about this before. MySQL does suck in terms of features compared to just about any other program that calls itself a (R)DBMS. The speed's (generally) quite good. However, I guess you could say it's akin to PHP vs C(++) in its learning curve. No need to bother with foreign keys, SPs, triggers, etc! ;) And it's more lax with its syntax (...intfield='#' comes to mind), which at this point I'm not really considering a good thing...

A few years ago Polly Klaas was kidnapped just a few miles from me. I worked on the community team that helped try to find her. In fact we were working there the night they found her body. It was one of the saddest experiences of my life.
