Domain Masking

You know how some registrars allow domain masking for an extra fee?

Example:

You set www.1.com to go to www.2.com but www.1.com will still appear on the screen?

Is there any way to do this with your own DNS server, say, BIND?

Its not done at a DNS level
Its an entry in your httpd.conf
Usually points to a php file as well

So this is done with Apache? Is there a FAQ anywhere on how to do this?
