OK...this is day 2 of my vB purchase and I still don't know how to change my colors. I think I've figured out how to create a new forum, but just barely.
Is it wrong for me to assume that some kind and gracious soul took the time to document this procedure for those of us without general design knowledge? :D
To Smachol:
Would you by some chance be able to provide the methods you applied to create the OB symbols next to your discussion lists? My logo is similiar except the letters are nu and they're closer together and at the same angles. I can create this, the nu, fine using Swish but I don't haven't a clue on how to create it anywhere else and make it a jpeg. I also plan to make this a favicon once I learn how to create it. Yes I do have photoshop 6 that I'm struggling to learn how to use.

To change your colours: Login to your admin Control Panel and go down to styles on the navigation frame on the left. Go to modify and choose your style, by clicking on the [fonts/colours/etc] button. Now you will see a lot of settings for the colours. You must use hexadecimal codes here, for full functionality.

I have the manual. For all of its good intent, it still lacks on some areas that some like myself could benefit from, but that's just my opinion. I still love the product.
I'm seeking points from experiened users of this product that don't mind sharing their how-tos, even on a basic level. I'm sure I'm making this harder than it probably is, but that's the point of it all. Crawl before you walk...
I was given this link to take a look at for adding color codes and have a question.
Is it possible to obtain a color code or scheme that contain a mixture of 3 or more colors? Say for instance white, brown, & black?

Thanks

This is what I'm trying to accomplish in regards to a color scheme for my site and board.

blendtest.html (http://www.nubiint.com/blendtest.html)

I apologize if this appears too large for your monitors. I'm also trying to get a decent font size.

I'd like to have the "nu" appear next to my discussion lists in place of the vb and I'd like to edit and add "nubiint.com" in the header in place of vBulletin.

If anyone can shed some light on the color scheme and any of the others I'd be appreciative.

Thanks.

I'm going to post this in the How to section also.
