Hi, this isn't a forum-related question, and for that I apologize. Hopefully that's not a big deal. Anyways, my site is switching servers (rackshack intel celeron w/ plesk) and we are having some problems getting the php/mysql to work on it, even though what we had worked perfectly fine on our previous host. Thankfully though I've already gotten our forums to work on the new server. Anyways, this is what my php person tells me the problem is:
"Here's the problem: some of the queries are too long. This should NOT be a problem for mysql; we'll have to routinely do queries that are this long. For example, going here: http://216.127.74.31/join/sql.txt
You'll see a whole slew of queries, yes? We only get an error starting at number 10 (Castlevania II); this is because it's longer than the others. I confirmed this by doing it inside mysql manually. However, it's a perfectly normal query, one that worked fine in our previous server."
Anyways, does anyone have any advice for this? If you want to see the page as it normally looks on our old server it is here: http://www.rpgclassics.com/join
