Installation - Time

Hey,

I finally ordered a owned vBulletin license with first time installation. I just would like to know, normally how long does it take for one the people from vBulletin to install it. Will I have to wait 1 day, 2 days, a week? I would like to know, because if it takes long, I dont want to keep thinking its never going to be done. Thanks

I think I read somewhere that it'll take 24 - 48 hours... but to be honest, I'm not sure...

I would suppose it depends on how many orders there were before yours (I believe they do them in the order they are received). It could take 24 hours or more, again, depending on the orders in front of yours.

Just a suggestion Sean while you're waiting, try doing it yourself.

It's really quite simple, as the team have made some great code to make it easy, and it gives you a chance to see how things work.

If you mess it up, you can delete the whole and start again - doesn't really matter.

From a newbie point of view, I guess the hardest thing to do is to create the database and assign a user to it - that's host dependent.
