Cookies with v2.0

Here's my dilemma.. I integrated my VBB with my site (the registed member stuff etc) so that my visitors would not have to register twice. I also integrated the cookies that were used in the previous version so that I could have it display "Hi Matt" at the top of the page. With v2.0, are the cookies still used the same (e.g. bbuserid bbuserpassword)? Thanks.
