Ok, I have typed in "AIM, ICQ, Yahoo icons", "AIM icon in post bit". and "how do I turn on AIM icon in the post bit"...and each search gets me an error that says I don't have enough words to do search. Can someone give me a hint as to the best way to use the search engine on this site?

Search for "Yahoo". You can't use words with less than 4 characters - e.g. AIM, ICQ, etc. - and the way the engine currently works is if one of the words is too small it rejects the whole search.
