Hello,
There are other ways to buy vBulletin, other than a credit card :)

Creditcard is easiest and fastest though. I got a creditcard just for buying vBulletin. I may use it more often though to purchase stuff online. :)

Can't you get a parent to "lend" you their credit card?

That's what I did when I was 14. My dad often lent me his card so I could buy things online. It wasn't vB at the time but it was other software/goods/equipment.

Well I'm 14 and that's the story of my life lol. He lends me the credit card for button sets, vB license, hosting, domain names etc. because he encourages me into getting into all of this :)

I use either my PayPal Debit card, or the PayPal Virtual MasterCard.:p;)

You're still not legally old enough to have either.

But see, the account is linked to my Dad's checking account, which means that I'm using it under his name.
Which means that he gives me permission to use an account, similar to opening up an account at your local bank if you're under age.

Seeing that you are in the Netherlands like me I suggest you try http://www.dutchwebhosting.nl. My site is hosted with them and it's not expensive. My site hasn't been down once (not that I know of at least). Hmm just look for yourself at their site. :)
